We, too, had floats produced in the Far East. However, owing to the extremely fluctuating

quality we have decided to have our new series produced in Europe once more. The floats

are made exclusively from fine balsawood or top grade Rohacell foam! Another serious

disadvantage of the floats produced in the Far East is that as a rule wood from local trees

is used for the body and not balsawood. The load-bearing strength of this wood is significantly

lower than that of balsawood, which means that to achieve the same load-bearing strength

the body has to be about 25% thicker than with balsawood!
